This song is sooo funny, *Laughs Out Loud*

Watch it, actually LISTEN to it and laugh with me, *LAUGHS Very Loud* (In the mood of hating the word "LOL", LOL!

Unfair by Pavement lyric
down in Santa Rosa over the bay
across the grapevine to L.A.
we've got desert, we've got trees
we've got the hills of Beverly
let's burn the hills of Beverly!!

walk with your credit card in the air!!
swing your nachos just like you just don't care!!
this is the slow sick sucking part of me
this is the slow sick sucking part of me
and when i suck in kisses, it's ours...

up to the top of the shasta gulch
and to the bottom of the tahoe lakes
manmade deltas and concrete rivers
the south takes what the north delivers
you film hack, i don't use your...fade...

lost in the foothills of my pride
Trocadero, say good night
to the LAST PSYCHEDELIC BAND
FROM sac' to, northern cal.
FROM sac' to northern cal.

take it; neighbor; cuz you're my neighbor;
and i need favors; you're my neighbor;
you've done me favors; cuz i'm your neighbor;
i'm not your neighbor, you bakersfield trash.
traaaaaash! traaaaaash!!!

Am I losing my religion?

Well, I don't have any religion though some authority labelled me as one.

Well, I have nothing to say in this blog. I just want to post this song.

This song has been humming itself in my head for 2 days but I didn't know the lyric so I read it and I am posting it here.

(VERSE #1)
Oh, life is bigger
It's bigger than you
And you are not me
The lengths that I will go to
The distance in your eyes
Oh no, I've said too much
I've said it all

(VERSE #2)
That's me in the corner
That's me in the spotlight
Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no, I've said too much
I haven't said enough

(CHORUS)
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try
(THIRD TIME THRU, DS al CODA "GO TO CODA")

(VERSE #3)
Every whisper
Of every waking hour
I'm choosing my confessions
Trying to keep an eye on you
Like a hurt, lost and blinded old, fool
Oh no, I've said too much
I've said it all

(VERSE #4)
Consider this
Consider this hint of the century
Consider this slip
That brought me to my knees pale
What if all these fantasies
Come flailing around
And now I've said too much

(CHORUS)
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

(BRIDGE)
That was just a dream
That was just a dream

(REPEAT VERSE #2)

(REPEAT CHORUS)

(CODA)
That was just a dream
Try, cry, why, try
That was just a dream
just a dream, just a dream...

Ah, now I know what to write in this blog; about this song. I interpret this song this way: "Religion" in this song does not mean any particular world's religion, but the singer's own way of thinking and looking at the world. Losing my religion means losing his belief in the one he's singing to. The singer has been observing her ways of thinking and life which is like an ego-swallowed person. She may be so materialistic, behave blindly and live life in illusion. She has wrong understanding of life and love. She's out of touch with reality of the world. Therefore, he is very sad to see her living wrongly and suffer spiritually.

"Life is bigger than you and you are not me" means life has its true meaning, not her wrong meaning of life ("Life is bigger than you"). And he knows that true meaning but she is not him so she doesn't know what that meaning is. She has never experienced it
("You are not me").

"Try, cry, why, try" is a really good ending. He saw her try but he cried because he was hurt to see someone wounded by her wrong understanding of life.

So back to my blog's title: Am I losing my religion? Well, I have lost hope in the better world. Everything is in a trashy state. A better world is possible with the solutions that most people are ignorant of. I've also lost my "religion" in humans' inner state which is the cause of their and the world's sufferinng. But I've never lost this religion of mine: freedom and love. Not that I am a perfect person. Sometimes I have to try to get myself back together.

To Mr. Chuck, Mark, Iyoet and Bunny

Thank you the four of you for giving me the good singing-along-with-guitar time. I had never sang among guitars for a very long time and I had never sang and listened to guitar playing of the songs that I liked!

You guys inspired me to play guitar but I wonder how I can hand-switching chords that fast. Piano becomes a lot easier for me. You guys inspired me to start practicing piano again.

The only thing I didn't like about singing with you guys was the smoking smell. I want to sing and listen to the beautiful sound of guitar in a campfire in a thick wood where there is only a smell of trees.

I Like the Words in the Songs, not the Songs

Some songs I don't like the lyrics (eventhough I like the music). I like some words in the songs because those words connect to my heart. For example, "But I'm in so deep" in Linger by The Cranberries. I don't like the lyric of that song but I like that sentence.
